My story is your story
Did you know that your skin is the body’s largest organ and as such, it requires daily attention to stay young, blemish-free and healthy?
The habits you develop at a young age, are the ones you keep throughout your life. In other words, taking care of your skin early in life, simply means you will have laid the foundation for the years to come and won’t be making up for lost time when the first signs of skin’s inevitable aging appear! All skin experts and dermatologists agree that healthy skin is great skin for life!
No wonder my mum would insist on taking care of my sensitive skin from an early age. I couldn’t fully understand it when I was younger, but as I grew older and after years of using skin care products and seeing the positive effects on my skin, I came to realise that my mum was right!
So, during high school, it became clear that the question was not if I should use skin care products, but which skin care products I should use.
This is where things got difficult.
To top it all up, I couldn’t find anything that was made for me, for my skin needs! No matter how good your mum’s creams may be, they are made for older (sorry mum!) women, not for you! Young skin – whether dry, sensitive, oily or normal, has different needs. Find out more about young skin needs and why you should start skin care use early,
So I thought, why not create something myself? For young people, by a young person.
I approached my mum, and her friend. My mum was working at an insight consultancy in London and her friend – who also has a daughter – had spent years in Marketing and PR, promoting global leading skin care products. So they have done all the work, I just told them what I wanted and how I wanted it…
I wanted an uncomplicated, nutritious, effective skin care range, free of all that harmful stuff, to nourish my young skin and keep it healthy and blemish-free. A skin care range that respects the environment, doesn’t BS me and guess what, looks and feels great and is good value for money.
And that was how Young Carpo was born.
What is not in a skin care product is equally important as what is in the product.
So, why are there so many products still using harmful ingredients that affect our skin and disrespect the environment?
Also, why are there a gazillion products on the market?
No wonder young people like you and me find it difficult to choose!
“Life is complicated enough; skin care doesn’t need to be.”
